The Designer Stitch School of Fashion and Design
strives to teach all novice and intermediate students professional
design, sewing and construction techniques.
The principle, Ann-Michelle Grose ,who holds both a Bachelor of Education,
a Degree of Fine Art, and an Associate Diploma of Clothing Manufacture,
has worked and taught in the Clothing Industry for over 22 years.
Ann has developed clothing ranges for well known companies, and has lectured at both a T.A.F.E. and University level.
Education is her forte, and she strives to spread her enthusiasm for
design and sewing to all that wish to learn.
With Ann’s extensive teaching background, she is skillfully able to
lead Beginners who are wishing to Learn To Sew, those with Intermediate skill level, right through to those
with Advanced skills, wishing to extend themselves further,
in any area of personal interest.
Her constant goal is to instill confidence as she creates a
“can do” attitude among her students.
Day and Evening classes are held in a well equiped sewing studio, which enables the student an opportunity to design their own unique creations which express the individuality and unique creativity of the wearer.
