Dawn S. writes: Hello,
I would like to tell you about a great shop in Mittagong. It is basically curtain and soft furnishing fabrics, but there is a great range and the staff are really helpful. They also make curtains, supply rods and tracks and also sell ready-made curtains. I found that they were really helpful and accommodated all my reqests, beyond the 'call of duty'. They will also take orders to make specific things, if you don't want to do the hard work, like cushions, throws, table clothes etc.
Worth the drive to the Southern Highlands, enjoy a coffee and the atmosphere.
The name of the shop: Fox Fabrics (now under new management).
Address: 8 Bowral Road, Mittagong
Phone: 47 822911
Thankyou, Dawn S

Hi Ann,
I'm Jodie, based in Melbourne and I have just started a site called The Haby Goddess. www.thehabygoddess.com.au .
It is basically a site about all things haby, I will be introducing a theme each week which will be available for sale. ie : Week 1 (now) is Buttons - Vintage/retro style. In the following weeks I will be offering a lot more brand new haby - can be purchased in large quantities or small amounts. All prices will be below RRP.
There will also be items available for sale that you cannot buy in stores ie: 20mm polycotton bias and quilting fabrics from the US at less than the ridiculous prices Aussie stores are charging.
I will be showcasing some locally produced hand made items each week.
I would love to be listed on your site. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards,
Jodie Maloni

Dear Annie, I have just visited and read your website with much interest. We are a textile manufacturer producing fabrics of the highest quality, all of them being designed and woven at our mill in Carlisle, UK. They are textured, novelty woven fabrics made with virtually all yarn types and weaving techniques. Unique fancy yarns sourced from all over the world are combined to produce sumptuous, elegant fancy tweeds suitable for ladies jackets, skirts, coats, bags, hats, scarves and other accessories. We have been designers and manufacturers of these innovative, high-quality fabrics for the womens-wear fashion industry since 1912 and are renowned as the original "Chanel" fabric makers. You can read all about Linton Tweeds' heritage at www.lintontweeds.co.uk Linton Direct is way of offering these fabrics to the general public via mail order without the requirement of minimum orders etc. Our website www.lintondirect.co.uk shows a taste of the hundreds of qualities we hold in stock. We already have a small number of customers around Australia and would love to extend that into a wider audience. If you think this may be of interest to you, or if you would be willing to show and use our fabrics in your sewing classes, please visit our website to request a set of samples.
